Made from Saperavi grape variety from 30-50 year old vineyards. This unique wine is fermented in Qvevri by ancient Georgian method, which naturally guarantes constant temperature during the whole winemaking process. The result is a deep wine rich of extract with a very good aging potential. Wine has purely varietal aroma of cherry and blackberry without oak influence. Recommended with meat dishes and cheese.

Saperavi "Kakhetian Style"
Saperavi is Georgia's noble red wine varietal, and this dry version is 100% Saperavi, initially fermented for 20 days in "kvevri" (large, in-ground earthenware vessels also called amphorae), before maturation in oak barrels. Unfiltered and deep-hued, it has a rich texture and tastes of pomegranate, dark berries, and herbal tea. Supple, beautifully proportioned, and a very reasonable 13% alcohol, it is ideal with pork, lamb, and mushrooms.
